X-Team Tour 2012 - Educational Events for X-ray Analysis

One-day seminars celebrating 100 years of analytical X-ray in a city near you.

In the X-Team one-day seminars, Bruker's best applications scientists partner together to teach the ins and outs of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis.  The talks will cover theory as well as practical aspects of XRD, single crystal XRD, XRF, handheld XRF, and TXRF analysis.

Learn more about the X-Team members. (1.88MB)

You will learn:

  • How to prepare samples for optimum data quality
  • What measurement and data analysis techniques to use when
  • Quantitative analysis, from elements to compounds to crystalline phases
  • How to analyze major, minor and ppb trace element concentrations
  • Applications of XRD, such as texture, stress and nanolayer thickness measurements
  • The breadth of XRF instruments and applications, from lab to field
  • How to tackle anything, from complete unknowns to complete structure solutions

Onsite instruments will complete the hands-on experience.  Check out the agenda (1.19MB) for more information.
