XPRESSO — Automation at its Finest

This Plug-in offers a flying start for users not familiar with the SC-XRD system. XPRESSO drives the complete experiment. You mount the crystal, you start XPRESSO, and we provide you with the CIF file of the structure.
It also is a great tool for service crystallographers, who are often overwhelmed by an enormous workload. At the same time ordinary crystals often do not provide a crystallographic challenge, but the vast number of crystals to be handled prevents crystallographers from focusing on challenging problems. Of course, XPRESSO may encounter crystallographic problems requiring a human scientist. In these cases, it defers to you: the expert.
