Ni/C PUSH-PLUG GÖBEL MIRROR FOR D8 60 mm LENGTH

Graded multilayer optics for Cu radiation, including optical element, housing and slits.
The parabolic bent Göbel Mirror creates a highly parallel incident beam while suppressing Kbradiation. Ni/C is the optimum material combination for the multilayer, because the natural CuKß absorber is implemented. By capturing a large solid angle, the mirror turns otherwise unusable radiation into a useful parallel beam.
The Göbel Mirror enables the investigation of irregularly shaped sample surfaces and reduces the requirements for exact sample positioning.
Ideal for samples with low X-ray absorption. Considerable intensity gain for parallel-beam applications such as grazing incidence diffraction and reflectometry. A Cu long fine focus Xray tube is recommended for use with this optic.
