PLATINUM135 CCD Detector - Better Data … Faster
The PLATINUM135 brings you the best 135 mm CCD-based X-ray detector for 3D structure determination. It is a perfect solution for a variety of crystalline samples – in particular for proteins. Based on the largest scientific-grade CCD chip manufactured, the PLATINUM135 detector is coupled to a 135 mm fiberoptic taper. The resulting large X-ray sensitive area covers an impressive 2-Theta range for complete data collection – faster than ever. This goes along with an excellent quantum gain, delivering excellent data quality in shortest possible time.
The PLATINUM135 detector is available in the X8 PROTEUM or as a stand-alone X-ray detector:
- Lowest readnoise and darknoise for highest dynamic range
- Fast four port read-out for minimizing overhead time
- Nano-Structured scintillator screen and 15 micron pixel size on the camera for the best resolution on the camera
Our new PHOTON 100 detector has an even larger active area and is a taper-less CMOS detector.
