IμS Microfocus Source, More Photons without Maintenance
The IμS microfocus source is an outstanding X-ray source for point-focus applications. Compared to traditional sealed tube or rotating anodes the IμS delivers an unprecedented, high intensity beam, while it has a very low energy foot-print and is completely air cooled. Our new improved heat-management and improved optical design enables the production of more photons in the same small spot, retaining the impressively long life time of the tube. In less than five years the IμS became the most popular sealed tube microfocus source in the market.
- For Cu, Mo and Ag
- Optimized State-of-the-art X-ray multilayer optics
- Up to 60% more intensity
- Very long lifetime without maintenance
- Air-cooled for highest beam stability
- Fully integrated in DAVINCI.DESIGN
- 3-year warranty on source and optics
These features open the door to a wide range of high-end applications in nanostructured material, soft matter research, chemical and biological single crystal X-ray diffraction.
