APEX II ULTRA
Turn on the light! Hotter does not have to be bigger. MoTurbo X-ray Source with APEX II detector.
The highly innovative, compact Turbo X-ray Source is mounted on the 3-axis D8 goniometer in the standard, compact D8 safety enclosure. This new concept provides a very stable, easy to align X-ray Beam.
The TXS electron beam is produced by a 6000 watt high voltage generator, directed into the small spot focus suited to the capture angle of the Mo HELIOS high brightness multilayer optics. This very high intensity Mo source and optics are combined with the world’s most sensitive APEX II CCD detector.
The Turbo X-ray Source coupled with the HELIOS Mo optics provides up to 60 times more intense data from small crystals compared to Sealed Tube systems, making it ideal for cutting edge research with the tiniest inorganic and mineral crystals.
Bruker’s new intuitive APEX software makes this diffractometer easy to use for the novice crystallographer but provides all the tools for the expert user.
This system will help you to collect best data and does not leave any question unanswered.
