APEX II QUAZAR
The user-friendly high-intensity Microfocus X-ray Source system for chemical crystallography!
The APEX II QUAZAR features the IμS™ X-ray Source, a 30 W microfocus sealed tube with high brilliance and high-performance focusing Quazar™ multilayer optics, the latest type of Montel mirror. The combination of source and optics, available for Molybdenum, Copper, and Silver Radiation, exceeds the performance of a sealed tube generator and even of traditional 5.4 kW rotating anode sources. Unlike rotating anodes, the IμS has no moving parts and does not require water cooling. It has a very long lifetime, does not require maintenance, is extremely stable, easy to replace, and has a low cost of ownership.
Combine the IμS microfocus source with the best CCD detector available for a high performance system with amazingly low maintenance.
